A New Way of Marketing, Relating, Being
In the study of business marketing, one of the first things you learn is to identify your customers’ pain – and then how to lead them into that pain till it intensifies. Then you learn how to show them that you have the solution to ending their pain.
This cycle, I believe, is fast becoming an out-moded paradigm. At least in certain (as yet small) circles.
We each have the opportunity, at any moment, to see through new perspective into the possibility and potential that changes, first, the way we see and move through our own lives... which changes the world.
Transformation is possible, and it begins with a commitment to create the experiences we TRULY desire, and no longer taking the "that's how it's done" answer in business... or any expression.
As I work with visionaries and entrepreneurs, who are finding their voices, opening their hearts and awakening to divine consciousness... I guide them to bring their Vision, Ambition and Awakening to LIFE.
They are creating new definitions of what it means to experience success. It's usually a rattling conversation... because it requires that we, each of us, let our "rules" and ideas about how "IT" is supposed to look, be or feel melt away.
They have big ambition. They want to change the world, serve their communities. They want to form philanthropic foundations. They want to travel the world. They want to their raise children, instilling in them a strong sense of self-worth and belonging, and who will be empowered to collaborate, cooperate and co-create.
They also have, like you and I do, decades of being told that success means something specific, and that in order to achieve it (which you're supposed to want to achieve), there are specific measures and behaviors that you must reach.
This approach to success has been informed by values of hierarchy. So they often think that to win, others must lose; or to ask for support is a sign of weakness; or that hard work is an absolute requirement. (We could share examples of this for years, but that would NOT support the transformation.)
Being the change will.
I started off talking about the old-way-of-marketing, suggesting what's possible. To that point, I share with you an excerpt from my book, Sacred Truths.
A New Way of Marketing 
If we, all of humankind, deeply understood that we are not our pain, we would redefine how business is done.
Businesses would speak to potential and possibility and emerge from the old model of restricted supply and demand, and the perspective of control and market share, to growing and expanding because they are serving the greater good of their customers.
As a buyer, you would choose to invest in, support and appreciate the companies that reflected your highest good. Your buying power would align your actions with your True Desire.
A New Way of Relating
Instead, imagine this:
Imagine in your relationships you unveil your radiance, your power and your grace.
Imagine that you see the people in your life through eyes of the infinite being that you are, not from how “they make you feel,” nor by what you get from them.
You learn and grow and delight in yourself and in each other.
A New Way of Being
You would have compassion and practice forgiveness as a way of being, rather than something you do.
You would ask for what you want, not what you think you can get, or what you deserve.
You would celebrate the achievement, success, opportunity and joy of others...
You would know that their having more doesn’t mean you have less.
You would be forthcoming when you made a mistake.
As a spiritual seeker, if you deeply understood that while your thoughts, stories, self-induced limits or burdens may have served you at one time, they are not the only ways to experience safety, security, value, or to propel you to grow.
Sure, you can learn and grow from the pain and struggle that comes with what you’re not. So, too, can you grow by embracing who you are.
The latter is much more fun!
Who you are will shine your light into the shadowy recesses of your resistance, and issue you into more of your Self more quickly, with more ease and more joy than your veils ever have.
